International Preschool Programme
‘Early Childhood Experts Team’
The programme was pioneered by Mr. Ashok and Ms. Latha, who are both certified practitioners of early childhood development. They have also been trained by experts from American International School, and Mr. Ashok also holds the position of a Joint Secretary in the Association of Early Childhood Education & Development. With their 16 years of being in the field, they have been able to design a unique preschool programme that amalgamates their learning experiences from across spheres. More than all the accolades they brought in, it was the ‘parent’ in them that made them seek out these experiences. Since the time they saw in reality what time, effort, love and the right resources could do to their children, they have been advocating for strong early childhood experiences ever since!
Our Preschool program now has a fantastic team of staff, most of them holding the Cambridge’s International Diploma in Teaching and Learning. They work with young minds with a deep-rooted belief and conviction in the role of PLAY in nurturing early childhood.

Curriculum
The Early Years Foundation Stage clearly identifies six Key Learning Areas. The Key Learning Areas will be reflected in our daily programme through a variety of materials and resources in our play areas. The early learning goals defined in the Key Learning Areas will help lay secure foundations for the student’s learning.
Communication, Language & Literacy
The development and use of communication and language are at the heart of young children’s learning, helping them to interact with other people, communicate their thoughts, ideas and feelings and build relationships with adults and each other. Students will be provided opportunities and encouragement to interact, speak, listen to and express themselves through drawing, pre-writing activities, stories, listening games, role play and show and tell, rhymes and songs. Music and dance play a key role in language development for young children and build the foundations for reading and writing.
Problem Solving, Reasoning And Numeracy
Experiences like counting, sorting shapes and patterns through play enable young students to make connections between numbers. Problem solving, one-to-one correspondence, understanding cause and effect and the skills of prediction will be encouraged in the learning environment through puzzles, manipulative toys, blocks, outdoor activities, rhymes and role play.
Personal, Social And Emotional Development
This enables students to develop a sense of self and others. Emotional safety, trust and a positive self-image are the keys to building secure attachments and healthy friendships. Children’s emotional well being helps them to know themselves and what they can do, as well as giving them the confidence to take on new challenges.
Physical Development
Experiences offer opportunities for children to learn through being active and interactive, improving their skills of coordination, control, manipulation and movement. Our planned activities offer appropriate physical challenges and sufficient time for children to use a range of equipment. Children are motivated to persist and learn and are supported to develop specific skills such as climbing, balancing and ball games.
Knowledge And Understanding Of The World
Students will be supported in developing the skills and understanding that help them to make sense of the world.
Creative Development
Children’s creativity is extended by supporting their curiosity, exploration and play.
