Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications
Cambridge PDQs are internationally recognized as a mark of excellence and bring accreditation to teachers, trainers, leaders, and their organizations.
Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching & Learning (CICTL) and Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching & Learning (CIDTL) are offered by Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE), UK and is a dynamic professional teacher-development program, designed to incorporate international best practices in Education.
Candidates will be able to

- You will be attending online sessions, need to complete all the course work and submit an assignment at the end of the module.
- A computer/laptop with good internet connection, microphone, webcam and any required application.

CIDTL Programme leader : Sarasa Ashok
Sarasa Ashok is the Co-founder & Principal of Budding Minds International school, Chennai. A chemistry graduate, She also holds a Professional degree in Education. Recently, her zeal towards exploring a non-native language learning through First Language Acquisition methods made her pursue DELF and implement a successful French lab in our school.
Sarasa Ashok is a ‘Certified Jolly Phonics trainer’ certified by Jolly learning Co Ltd UK. Brings her extensive experience of working with children and training parents and teachers since 1996. As a Professional trainer she has conducted numerous workshops in – Language & Literacy, Early childhood education, Best teaching practices, Inner transformation for teachers, Assessment for Learning, thought-leadership training sessions and CIE Cambridge Primary Programme, Parenting workshops on ‘Small windows giant opportunities’ , ‘Explore – the great parent within’, ‘How to make a better students?’.
Key achievements:
- Represented India at Jolly Global Trainer’s Conference, held in Hong Kong in July 2013, where representatives from 40 countries were invited.
- Took up a challenge of training school teachers in remote areas & worked for about 3 consecutive years to bring in an amazing experience with the first generation learners to become independent readers and writers.
- Conducted workshops for about 500 teachers for Meghalaya government schools in Mar 2014
- Conducted ‘Teacher training sessions’ for government teachers on Language and literacy development in various parts of Tamilnadu through Jolly learning rollout in 2018.
Trainers Team
A HR professional by nature, she is associated with Budding Minds for the past 14 yrs. Her passion towards the field of education has taken leaps and bounds. She is a certified Preschool and Montessori teaching professional, a distinction holder in CICTL – Cambridge International Certificate for Teaching and Learning. She heads the admin operations, recruitment, induction programme for the teacher recruits, brings in structured process and protocols in the school operations. Pumped up with her desire in training adults, she becomes a part of our PDQ trainers team, sharing not just the content but the nuances of the course and transforming the candidates into seasoned teachers.
Anita was always in love with studies and did her B.Com (Accountancy Honors) and MBA (Finance & Marketing). She has completed CIDTL – Cambridge International Diploma for Teaching and Learning in her very first year of teaching. She started her career in banking. Now she is at BMIS combining her twin passions – love for children and education. Extending her interest towards progressive education and revved by the positive experience of in-house mentoring and training new teacher recruits, she has recently joined the bandwagon of CIDTL trainers at BMIS. Her cheerful, friendly, approachable and empathetic nature makes her gel with one and sundry. She is a voracious reader, quite gregarious, enjoys music and sudoku and considers cooking as therapeutic!! She is keen in inculcating reading habit, goes extra mile on building healthy team climate, considers herself blessed to be able to play even a small part in ensuring her trainees’ holistic growth and professional development.
Vaishali Rajan is a qualified English teacher who holds a CELTA certification from the British Council. A Certificate holder in English Language Teaching, she is passionate about supporting learners in English language acquisition in secondary & higher secondary classes. She envisions that students will develop into self-directed learners who actively pursue their inherent curiosity about the material presented and strongly believes that the role of a teacher is to act as a springboard for students’ further exploration. Through social actions as a part of our student leadership programme, she is attempting to instil in students a sense of leadership and competence as members of the community, by bringing interesting opportunities for our student leaders. She enjoys reading a lot and picking up new skills.
