Phenomenal TEAM - Thank You!!!,
Dear Budding Minds Team,
We wanted to express how much glad we are to be associated with such an amazing, hardworking and committed team. You guys are truly a standout team because of your sheer dedication to your work. Getting accustomed to the new normal is not that easy during this pandemic situation. But you guys made it by the brilliant work plan and flawless execution of the same. Right from the online classes started for the higher grades immediately during the first lock down, online assignments and assessments, reopening patterns for the new academic year like timetable planning, deciding the working hours for each grades, distribution of books etc was very well planned and organized. It's tough to take live classes for young children, but you guys are rocking and making the kids more comfortable with the learning process. Each and everything was neatly taken care of. This would never happen without proper planning. We understand that you guys have sacrificed your vacation and have put huge effort to come up with this ultimate plan. Great going!!! Moving from Google to Microsoft is a great decision. It's making the learning community much more professional. Inspite of lot of challenges, it's good to see that teachers are technically well equipped and doing an incredible work during the online classes. It's not very easy to work from home. Hats off to your dedication and hard work. Considering the parents views and revisiting the fees payment structure shows your thoughtfulness. Thanks a ton for your tremendous support. Keep rocking.

It is common that most of the shopping centers carry a tagline, "One stop for all your shopping needs". That makes our life easier as all our daily needs are met in one place. How easier would it be if parenting needs, aspirations and dreams for our children getting fulfilled through one school! We found BMIS to be ONE SUCH STOP for all parenting needs in terms of education, protection and stimulation for our children. From the day one we made admission for our son
H Vinoth Maximus, BMIS took the responsibility of the wholistic development of our young kid with open arms. Be it academics, extracurricular activities, sports, MUN, project days, kids’ fest, SLP, educational tours, more prominently conducting the most vulnerable enigmatic adolescence phase of children with utmost care, respect and freedom (which even parents find struggle to handle 😊), virtual classes, upholding the enthusiasm and energy levels by curbing the stress in children during pandemic via gala events, class teacher time (CT) till VGP, BMIS has handled everything in a unique style. The word unique is very much pertinent because all these were not just executed by aunties and uncles alone but children owning it to a greater extent. As parents, our ideologies about education were different because we were certain that a school should impart good values in children than just focusing academics. But if a school can provide you both what more as a parent we need! We could see the metamorphosis happening in front of our eyes where our little kid transformed into a cheerful and responsible lad in the safe hands of BMIS team gradually by year after year. We are happy and proud to be one among such parents of BMIS community. Thank you BMIS team 😊 – Vinoth’s parents (Grade 11)

Dear BMIS team,
A school where learning is fun, interesting and exciting and every child is considered a precious gem. And every feedback session with the teachers is about who the child is and not just about studies. We consider ourselves very privileged to be part of this family. Virtual Classes: 2020 has been a hard year and we have adapted to things which are completely unprecedented. The teachers had to transition from normal teaching way to remote model, finding new ways to engage the child during the classes. Above all teachers had to do this while juggling the effects of Covid -19 on their family and their personal lives. A great kudos to them!!! I would like to specifically mention about Naveena aunty and Iniya aunty who have been a great support for Samvrith in his learning curve. A standing ovation !! Also thanking Tamizh amma, who has helped Samvrith learn the language and sing rhymes and tell stories in Tamizh. Appreciation to the sports team as well who emphasis on physical development of the child as well during the times when the children are unable to play outside. Virtual Gala: We had been equally excited to be a part of the program this year!! Appreciating the thought about bringing the same to showcase the hidden talents of the child. Each experiment, hobby showcase of the child was awesome. The teachers had coordinated and managed the program smoothly in the digital platform. Wish BMIS Family a great New Year 2021 and hoping to meet you all in the school soon!!

For the last few days, the kids were actively participating in the Virtual Gala program showcasing their understanding of basic concepts in Science in the form experiments and exhibits. Also, I also got an opportunity to witness some of skillsets of the kids including singing, dancing, puppet show and catwalk among others.
Lot of simple experiments exhibited by the kids were an eye opener for me as well.
More importantly, the credit to the management and teachers of the school in spending time in ensuring the kids understand the requirements and in encouraging the kids to go an extra mile to express themselves.
Inspite of the lockdown, the school has ensured the festival for the kids still goes on and has helped the kids to be in vibrant mood. Above all, the underlining theme of the program has been on learning new things and kindling the interest to learn more in kids.
Kudos to the dedication and enthusiasm of the staff for making the program a grand success!

“To Zero, To Zero” has been the actual experience that many of us went through this year. It is not just the state of business, but also our long-held opinions, biases, assumptions and beliefs, which were either reset or revised, as Covid began dominating and dictating every action that we performed as individuals and as communities.
Learning was one of the many domains that got impacted. The notion that learning is best imparted through face-to-face interactions got the biggest beating. The very act of sending children to school came to be considered as either endangering the lives of children or still worse a means to let them become transmitters of the terrible infection, the focus particularly shifting to the risk such “exposed” children can bring to elderly people in their homes.
Online Learning, once considered a necessary evil for the working professionals, a fad for the fatigued, a sanctuary for the social introverts, has come to literally demand the limelight of the day. The elusive dream of many technology proponents of achieving the “three-screen-integration” seems to begin succeeding, as Learning has started to take centerstage across the three screens of Mobile, Computer and TV, the last one being a surprise entry, but serves as the best medium so far to students who are unable to afford the costly alternatives.
Budding Minds International School has taken on the dual challenge of managing education in the times of Covid and adapting to new reality of running the school activities very smoothly and with an amazing level of effectiveness. While almost every educational institution has subscribed to some online learning mechanism or the other, the school has set an example in
· Efficient organizing of classroom sessions
o Consistent meeting schedules, regular announcements on Assignments and special sessions for co-curricular activities
o Inclusion of Sports related activities in its class schedules for all classes
· Managing critical education milestones like Checkpoint exams, preparatory mock exams and so on
· Continued personalized interactions with parents
· Student Skills mgmt.., Extracurricular activities and so on
o e.g.: Student Councils, Virtual Gala Programme - the event on extra-curricular skills
The key reason for their success stems from their meticulousness in planning, inclusion of parents, teachers and students like in key decisions, strong adherence to the values that the school has set forth.
While the future of Learning is still looking clouded, with very less hope for people to gain freedom from this seemingly omnipresent and omnipotent infection yet, Online Learning seems to show a lot of promise. Schools like Budding Minds International School seem to have positioned themselves well in managing this tough situation while continuing to excel in their primary goal of imparting education to children.
It will also be wise for Online Learning ecosystem to continuously look out for further technological advancements that are under research like “Haptic Devices” base Education, “Virtual Presence” based meetings and sessions, “Virtual Reality” based technology offerings and so on, to enhance the Online Learning experience for students and teachers alike.
