The ‘New Normal’ has brought in a paradigm shift in everything that was Normal – from home becoming the School, from face to face meetings to virtual meetings, visiting shops to ordering online.
Buddings Minds embraced this change too. This ‘New Normal’ has brought in a lot of shift in the way how school operates. We have truly moved from ‘nowhere’ to ‘know where’ we are right now. This shift was huge; challenging; new and overwhelming. But WE DID IT all without compromising INTERNATIONAL standard.
Teachers began taking online classes in a professional platform – MICROSOFT TEAMS. We had a strong technical team, a true backbone, who made this seamless shift with ease. All the staff were given training on how to navigate this new application. Our super spirited staff TEAM learnt a lot more through self-exploration. New online teaching framework was designed to cater all students from Kindergarten to IGCSE, AS & A level students, with not just academic learning, Physical Education, yoga and arts classes are also delivered.
Quite obvious, it cannot stop with our teachers – it extended to our students and their families. With a little bit of guidance, and parental support, even our lower primary students mastered everything – from joining a class through calendar, exploring the resources in their shared one-drives, clicking pics of their work and uploading – AND, what not! They have become tech-savvy and confident in handling the gadgets.
Now the learning is ON, what next?
Budding Minds was going LIVE for the first time. We hosted webinars for parents to support students’ wellbeing at home.
Not to miss about our online assessments, fun and engaging classes. This ‘New Normal’ has given immense opportunities to learn – We have created a space for our student leaders to design solutions for COVID problems online – we are awestruck by their critical thinking and problem solving skills and their commitment towards the society.
