One of my most favorite author is Roald Dahl. The world’s number one story teller. I have read many books written by him, such as Fantastic Mr.Fox, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches, Boy Tales of Childhood, Esio Trot, James and the Giant Peach and few more but not all. All his books are fascinating. It fluctuates from Fantasy to Humor, poem to narrative and mystery to adventure. He gives the most detailed description about each character in his every story. He has a great imagination and ability to stretch it beyond the border. His writings also give me an excellent visualization.
The most surprising part is, each word he invents is remarkable!! Such as “HIPSWITCH” means doing something quickly, “BABBLEMENT” is a nice gossipy conversation, “SCRUMDDDLYUMPTIOUS” means delicious and lovely and the list of words go on for miles and miles. It’s hard for me to recollect all. His inventions are going to be everlasting.
Roald Dahl stories have unhappy, horrible endings sometimes, or unexpected too. But they are always lovely. He is an admirable author. He writes books just for children. His books make me feel delighted even when I am in a somber mood and Quentin Blake also plays a crucial role in every RoaldDahl’s book illustrations. They are quite appealing. I recommend all Roald Dahl books to children. Have a cheerful reading!
