This was indeed the most awaited event in the academic year 2018 to 2019. The interesting discussions made between the core team made my eagerness increase day by day. Their discussions were ensured to be confidential and concealed. The day they finally decided to reveal a part of their planning was the first day of my life I took an Instant decision, I decided to participate in all the events organized.
My name was there in the sign-up sheets stuck up on the walls. But participating in the auditions made me more anxious and nervous. Though I was nervous it did not show up in my face and luckily I was selected to conduct a workshop. The sign-up sheets mentioned earlier was about the workshop.
It was totally a different experience where we get an opportunity to conduct workshops in topics we have mastered. this was always my dream to make others feel that chess is not just a game played during past times this can also be taken as a course not to master your chess based skills but it can develop your patience and concentration, which was the ultimate agenda of my workshop.
The student leadership summit was a great victory or success in regard to lightning up the spark of leadership in every active participant.
This was not like the usual way of developing our leadership quality by analyzing issues or events and bringing up with better ideas to develop the quality of the event. This was a summit where we got a chance to penetrate into the huge forest of design thinking. It was predictable that none of us had any idea about what is human-centric design. Human-centric design basically helped us by giving us the opportunity to think of ideas having efficiency in mind.
ASSEFA was also one of the greatest hits of this summit. I have already been to Cuddalore but never knew that it people of Cuddalore are going through so many difficulties in their lives. ASSEFA does not just provide education for the children there but develops brave women who have achieved something greater than their expectations, which is entitled as the greatest women achievers in the history of Cuddalore. This shows the persistence within them, and definitely be the greatest inspirations of our life.
The third day had my most favourite part which is the learning circles. Learning circles had also brought up with an understanding that gender inequality is not just with women but it applies to men too, this starts from our favourite colour of the dress to the selection of our dress. But our agenda was fulfilled all of us had the same takeaway.
The summit as a whole was a great success in regards to the qualities we have taken away.
